🔸 路線特色: Villa Montalvo has interesting history and unique gardens with amazing plants & sculptures.
曾經是 James Phelan (1897 年至 1902 年擔任舊金山市長) 的宏偉莊園, 現在是藝術中心 (Montalvo Art Center)。Santa Clara County manages Villa Montalvo 後面的hiking trails。

🔸 路線特色: Almaden Quicksilver County Park is a very unique area with spectacular natural diversity and a landmark of California history. The site includes over 135 years of mining activities and is the former home to more than 1,800 miners and their families. 🔸 路線: (最後路線會根據當天情況調整) The Trail is considered a moderately challenging route來回約7 miles for 4-5 hours.
Arastradero Preserve Parking lot -> Foothills Preserve via Arastradero Creek -> Boronda Lake, Orchard Glen, Interpretive Center and back to Arastradero Parking lot.
🔸 路線特色: Hike two preserves of Palo Alto. Both preserves are Nature Lover’s paradises 遼闊的草原，點綴其間的溪流、湖泊、遠眺海灣和高山景觀、豐富的野生動物:陸地上的鹿和土狼…天空的多種飛鳥群…。

The Trail is considered a moderately challenging route來回約 6.5 miles for 4.5 hours.
路線特色: 近Stanford Univ. Dish trail，遼闊的草原視野，點綴其間的溪流、湖泊、遠眺海灣和高山景色，豐富的野生動物，常可以看到鹿和土狼，如果幸運的話，您可能會看到山貓。
停車: 免費停車場, 但車位有限，起點的停車場有洗手間。

Arastradero Preserves in The City of Palo Alto
Arastradero Preserves in Open Spaces
最近有太多人想參加Meetup club的每月健行活動，但報不上，因很快就額滿。根據各Open Space & Park 規定，人數超過規定(通常是20人)，必須事先申請permit 和提供 liability insurance證明文件。受此限制，我們只能增加活動次數。感謝有幾位熱心校友volunteers幫忙，我們試行每月健行兩次，路線相同，讓更多校友能參加。請暫時不要兩個活動都報名，等活動日期接近仍有空位，再歡迎報名。

🔸 路線: Alma and Redwood Springs Loop來回約6.5 miles 時間3-4小時左右. This trail considered a moderately challenging route, very shady but it has relatively long up and down incline.
🔸 路線特色: Beautiful Redwoods and bird sounds

🔸 請注意: No dogs/pets/bikes are NOT allowed in this Preserve.
